Dr. Eugene Nassif
DPM
Dr. Nassif is an active lecturer in the community and he participates in many foot and ankle-related community events. He was once a columnist on foot health for the Involvement Magazine and has authored several publications.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dr. Eugene L. Nassif graduated from Washington High School, then went on to graduate from the University of Iowa and the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. The residency was completed at the Foot and Ankle Surgery at Straith Hospital for special surgery in Michigan.

The Foot & Ankle Specialists Of Iowa was established in 1993, but Dr. Nassif has been providing quality podiatric medical care to the Cedar Rapids, Marion, and surrounding Iowa communities since 1990.

Dr. David Hemmes
DPM
Dr. Hemmes has been treating patients at Foot & Ankle Specialists of Iowa since September 2003. Dr. Hemmes grew up in Hilo, Hawaii, and now resides in Marion, Iowa with his wonderful family. Dr. Hemmes earned his undergraduate degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and earned his doctorate from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Caritas Carney Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Hemmes performs a weekly podiatry clinic in Marion, Anamosa, and Independence. Dr. Hemmes is a board-certified surgeon and provides surgical care at both local Cedar Rapids hospitals, Surgery Center Cedar Rapids, Jones Regional Medical Center, and Buchanan County Health Center. Dr. Hemmes provides wound care at Unity Point Wound Healing Center in Hiawatha, and at Jones Regional Medical Center Wound Clinic in Anamosa. Dr. Chelsie M. Snyder
DPM
Dr. Snyder was born and raised in Dyersville, Iowa, and graduated from Dyersville Beckman Catholic High School in 2005. She attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate schooling and Des Moines University – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery for medical school. She completed her residency training at SSM DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Missouri in June 2017 and joined Foot & Ankle Specialists of Iowa the following August. She is trained in diabetic care, as well as both forefoot and rearfoot pathology and surgery. She currently lives in Marion with her husband, daughter, and two pugs.
